Educational Vision & Thought Leadership

Journal

Professor Shuchismita Sharma’s Journal explores the relationship between education, Bharatiya knowledge traditions and the responsibilities of universities. Drawing on her experience in scholarship, music and university life, these articles consider how institutions can strengthen research, sustain cultural knowledge and prepare students for thoughtful participation in society.

The opening collection develops her vision for Sanskrit and Indic studies, Kurukshetra as a global university region, and the future of Indian education. Each article examines a specific proposal and its practical implications for students, teachers and communities. The proposals express her educational perspective and are offered for discussion and development.
